Questions and answers

Where do the prices come from?

From US eBay: recent sales where we have them, and live listings with their asking prices, which are always kept apart from sales. Each card page names the source behind every estimate and how many sales it is based on.

Are the prices exact?

No. Every price is an estimate with a confidence level: High when a card sold 10 or more times in the last 30 days, Medium for 3 to 9 sales and Low for 1 or 2. Prices move, so check recent sales before you buy or sell.

How are graded cards priced?

Separately for each grading company and grade (PSA, CGC, BGS and SGC), and separately from ungraded cards, which are priced by condition from Near Mint to Damaged.

Is every printing priced separately?

Yes. Normal, holo, reverse holo and 1st edition printings each have their own prices, because they often sell for very different amounts.

Which cards are covered?

Every English Pokémon TCG set, over 20,000 cards, from the original Base Set to the newest releases.

Which country are the prices for?

The United States. Prices are in US dollars, from US listings and sales.

Is Pokedeck free?

Yes. The grading and trade calculators are free for everyone, with no account needed. A free account unlocks every set and card page, search, your collection and price tracking.

Is my card worth grading?

Try the free grading calculator: pick your card and it shows the estimated value at each grade, the grading fees, and the PSA 10 chance you need to break even.

How do I know if a trade is fair?

Use the free trade calculator: add the cards and any cash on each side, and it totals the estimated value of both so you can see who comes out ahead.

Do you grade or sell cards?

No. Grades come from independent grading companies, and every sale happens directly with the seller or marketplace.

Is Pokedeck part of The Pokémon Company?

No. Pokedeck is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Game Freak or Creatures.
